What is a detailed estimate in construction?

A detailed estimate works out the quantity of each item of work from the drawings, such as excavation, concrete, brickwork, plaster and flooring, then multiplies each quantity by its rate to find the cost of each item and the total cost of the project.

Do I need an estimate for a home construction loan?

Most banks ask for a construction estimate along with the approved plan when you apply for a home construction or renovation loan. We prepare estimates suitable for loan applications.

What do you need to prepare an estimate?

Architectural drawings, and structural drawings if available, plus your choice of specifications and finishes. If you do not have drawings yet, our architects and structural engineers can prepare them.
